Not very satisfied with my experience renting a car with this company. I booked a car to pick up at 8am and when I arrive, I am told by someone from a different rental agency that the staff is late due to “something”. Eventually, someone arrived and when I went to go in to get helped, he told me they aren’t ready/open yet, despite it being past 8:00am which is when my reservation was made for to be for 24 hours. Eventually, someone arrived and I was helped- however, the car which I reserved was not available. Instead, they gave me a “free upgrade” which ended up being a much larger car, which made it rather difficult to navigate in Vilnius especially with narrow streets. This is why I had reserved a small car, but to my surprise, after they had me sign a bunch of documents, I am then told that the car I had requested is actually not available at all. The car I got certainly had no winter tires put on, which is mindblowing considering the driving conditions in Vilnius/Lithuania in the winter are far from spectacular. The car had no tread, had terrible breaks and need some kind of checking for repair, and the car was slipping when driving which made me very concerned as a renter that the agency did not apply proper winter tires to the car to assist with snowy conditions when driving. The return process is self-guided if you arrive before they get there (which is up in the air as to when that actually is). To enter the lot, a machine reads the license plate, however, when snow and ice has iced over the license plate number, the machine simply fails and gives no option to click a button to speak to an operator or someone to help you figure out what you are possibly meant to do. Even after wiping snow off of the plate and getting out of the car, the reader still is finicky to read the plate and open the gate to enter the garage. When trying to park the car in the spaces to drop off the car, there are barely any available spots with other rental cars parked terribly making it nearly impossible to find a way to park the car in one of the reserved spots for the company which is even more frustrating when trying to catch a flight. Additionally, because I was given a much larger car with no interest but no other option, I was unable to fit the car in the parking spot available at my accomodation in Vilnius forcing me to have to park the car in street parking for nearly 4€/hr on my expense, which would have not been the case should the car I had reserved been provided. If it would not have been available, one should have informed the customer ahead of time, additionally if the time the reservation was made for wouldn’t actually be when someone would be working at the counter. They also tried asking me if I wanted to pay for the cleaning fee, or if I wanted to make sure I returned the car clean the same way I got it. I have never heard of a rental agency charging for basic cleaning of a car, but regardless, the car was not spotless when I first got inside to begin with. The seats were stained with some kind of salt stain likely from the winter, and the car had some kind of odor, which made me think what they charge people for if the vehicle isn’t actually brand new looking/spotless. I returned the car clean, with no mess inside, but of course with snow and ice likely around the exterior of the car, and am not sure how one is meant to clean that themselves or how they should be expected to pay for someone to clean that when that is the conditions of the season in Lithuania … and most of the world. Overall, not very pleased with my experience with this company unfortunately. Made my trip to Vilnius rather frustrating and more stressful than it was ever meant to be. Rodyti mažiau

AVOID AND SAVE YOURSELF THE HASSLE! I have rented cars in over 30 countries and have seen all kinds of shady tactics to upcharge the customers. They have created a policy that will charge you 15 euros up front for a car wash, or a 30 euro fine for an unwashed car! Or you can spend your vacation time washing the car yourself. When we picked up the car it had a dirty windshield and had plenty of scratches and dings. Oh, and also, don’t expect them to return your deposit after inspection! The only thing you will receive early are any fees/fines. Not worth the headache. Use something else. They are also known as TopRent or Enterprise Rent a Car. Avoid that booth in VNO airport. Der Service und überhaupt der ganze Mietverlauf war absolut problemlos. Man muss nur beachten, dass sparen an jeder Stelle, kann nach hinten gehen... Es ist ratsam die Versicherung mit max Schutz zu nehmen (immer)

I have rented a few times from Alamo / Admita. Generally was ok. On my last rental I been charged for cleaning charge after the bird strike. Despite having full insurance and an initial report from Admita that the front bumper is scratched (accident covered by insurance), later I was issued a cleaning charge without any explanation or substantiation. I received no replies to my emails. During a call with an Admita employee, I was told that the charges against me were incorrect. However, the next day, another employee strongly denied the previous day's call, sticking to the unreasonable charges. After four days of chasing for cleaning substantiation, I was finally sent a picture of what was supposedly damaged, along with irrelevant receipts that had nothing to do with the charges. Very poor communication and a lack of understanding that charges need to be explained to the customer in a detailed way before deducting the money, and not to hide behind ‘no reply’ emails. This is the last time I rented a car through Alamo/Admita. Update on the previous review: Admita had come back and solved the issue. Rodyti mažiau
