Until August 31, participants could photograph cars marked with the stylised letter A in the streets, register their licence plate numbers, and compete for the main prize of €1,000. The prize went to the participant who registered the highest number of different “ADMITA” cars – Vilnius resident Vadimas K.

The winner was first supposed to hear the good news live on “Power Hit Radio”. However, it was not possible to reach Vadimas K. during the broadcast, so the “ADMITA” team contacted him personally after the show and informed him that he had won.

This marked the end of the second stage of the “Have You Seen Her?” campaign, during which the advertising idea moved from city billboards directly into the streets. Participants could register an unlimited number of different cars, and they were allowed to look for them not only in Lithuania but also in other European countries.

It All Started with Cars Becoming Harder to Miss

Vadimas K. says he had already noticed cars with the stylised letter A before the contest began. However, it was the campaign advertising that made him realise just how often these cars appeared in his everyday surroundings.

“I had already seen quite a few cars with the stylised letter A before. And as often happens, once I saw the advertising message, I started noticing that I was seeing these cars all the time – driving around, parked near shopping centres or by the gym. Then everything was very simple – you register the first one, then the second, then the third,” says Vadimas K.

The idea of the contest was simple – spot as many different “ADMITA” cars as possible. The same car was counted only once, so participants had to pay attention not only to the stylised A but also to the vehicle’s licence plate number.

In Vadimas K.’s case, however, everything happened quite naturally. The cars kept appearing along his usual routes, so, according to the winner, there was no need to plan special searches.

“Your Cars Basically Surrounded Me”

Asked whether he had a special strategy that helped him outperform the other participants, Vadimas K. answered with a sense of humour.

“I didn’t have any particular strategy. If I may put it this way, your cars basically surrounded me and were just asking to be photographed,” he says.

“ADMITA” cars appeared in all kinds of everyday situations – both while spending time in Vilnius and while travelling to other cities.

“You go out for an evening walk to get your 10,000 steps in – and you see one parked near your home. You take a colleague to the airport or the station – and one of your cars parks right in front of you. I also saw them several times on the motorway on the way to Klaipėda or Panevėžys,” Vadimas K. recalls.

He believes that travelling frequently and simply being observant may also have contributed to his result.

Another amusing detail emerged after the contest had already ended. While answering the interview questions, Vadimas K. shared yet another photo – once again, a car marked with the stylised A had stopped in front of him at an intersection near his office.

It seems that the habit of looking out for “ADMITA” cars did not disappear even after the results were announced.

The Most Unexpected Encounter Was in Tallinn

Although Vadimas K. spotted many cars in Vilnius and while travelling around Lithuania, one encounter stood out the most.

“I was genuinely surprised to see a car after leaving a shop in Tallinn during a trip. Of all places, I definitely did not expect to see one in Tallinn,” says Vadimas K.

This case was fully in line with the contest rules – participants were allowed to register “ADMITA” cars spotted not only in Lithuania but also in other European countries.

At the same time, this story reflects the nature of car rental itself. Rental cars are not tied to one particular city – customers use them to travel between cities, to airports, across different regions of Lithuania or abroad. That means the stylised A could appear on a street in Vilnius, on a Lithuanian motorway or in an unexpected location beyond the country’s borders.

From an Advertising Phrase to a Real-Life Street Game

The car photography contest was the second part of the broader “ADMITA” campaign “Have You Seen Her?””.

During the first stage, hundreds of advertisements featuring the phrase “Have You Seen Her?” appeared in the streets of Vilnius. For many people, the phrase immediately brought to mind the song by Linas Adomaitis and the group “L+”, which became popular three decades ago.

The campaign brought together two Lithuanian stories of a similar age – a song that has remained recognisable for three decades and a car rental company that has been operating for more than a quarter of a century.

During the second stage, the question “Have You Seen Her?” took on a literal meaning. People were invited not only to notice the advertisements but to actually look around, spot “ADMITA” cars and register them in the contest.

In this way, the advertising message became a game that anyone could join simply by noticing a car marked with the letter A in their everyday surroundings.

“ADMITA” Cars Travel Across Lithuania and Beyond Every Day

“ADMITA” has been operating in the car rental market since 2000. Over more than 25 years in business, the range of the company’s services has expanded, but car rental remains one of its core areas of activity.

Customers can choose between short-term and long-term car rental, with a fleet tailored to different travel needs – from economical city cars to larger family models, SUVs and minibuses.

A car can be chosen both for a short city trip and for a longer journey around Lithuania or abroad. “ADMITA” services are available in several major Lithuanian cities, and vehicle pick-up options are also convenient for travellers using the country’s airports.

That is why the cars spotted by contest participants naturally appeared in a wide variety of places. One day they could be seen near a shopping centre or a gym, and the next near an airport or driving along a motorway.

Vadimas K.’s story confirms this perfectly – “ADMITA” cars appeared along his everyday routes in Vilnius, on trips to Klaipėda or Panevėžys, and even during a journey to Tallinn.

The €1,000 Prize Will Likely Turn into Another Trip

After learning that he had registered the highest number of different cars and had become the contest winner, Vadimas K. says that the best part was simply finding out that he had won.

“Probably the best feeling is simply finding out that you’ve won,” says Vadimas K.

He also did not need much time to decide what to do with the €1,000 prize.

“I like travelling, so I think it will be a weekend trip,” Vadimas K. says about his plans.

This is how the “Have You Seen Her?” car photography contest came to an end. For Vadimas K., it all started with noticing more and more cars in his everyday surroundings and eventually turned into a €1,000 win.

And although the contest is now over, one part of it seems to have remained – once you start looking out for the stylised letter A, “ADMITA” cars become much harder to miss in the streets.

The car photography contest of the “Have You Seen Her?” campaign has come to an end.
